Ešte v roku 2019 na popud profesora Bartusza začal Michal Machciník modelovať jeho portrét. Prvotné potešenie a nadšenie hneď vystriedal rešpekt a zodpovednosť z tejto unikátnej situácie. Jednalo sa o klasicky modelovaný sochársky portrét, ktorému sa Michal venuje paralelne s voľnou tvorbou už viac ako pätnásť rokov. Výsledkom siedmych sedení, pri ktorých profesor zakaždým sedel ako model približne hodinu, je portrét, ktorého následná sadrová forma vytvorila základ pre bronzový odliatok.
"Viem, ako na začiatku môjho štúdia dbal profesor Bartusz o kvalitné pochopenie a zvládnutie sochárskeho portrétu. Vnímam túto cennú a unikátnu možnosť ako výsledok úspešnej vyše jedenástich rokov trvajúcej bližšej spolupráce v pánom profesorom. Najväčšou satisfakciou pri tejto práci mi bolo jeho nadšenie počas modelovania a jeho pozitívna odozva na sochársky výsledok." - Michal Machciník
Video dokument je druhým výstupom, ktorý vznikol paralelne s procesom modelovania portrétu. Toto médium umožnilo sprostredkovať nielen samotný technologický postup, ale aj túto jedinečnú situáciu, dokumentujúc vzájomnú interakciu širokej verejnosti. Plnou stopážou videa sú 4h hodiny a 38 minút kontinuálneho záberu. Záznam je časozberom danej akcie, bez strihu. Samotným strihom sú však jednotlivé nové sedenia profesora Bartusza ako sochárskeho modelu. Hudobnú zložku v plnom časovom rozsahu dotvoril Boris Sirka. Ide o jedinečné spojenie autorského zvuku, unikátne zloženého pre tento dokument. O post-produkciu sa postaral Palko Matia z Onomatopoje studio.
"Začiatok modelovania portrétu som spojil aj so začiatkom natáčania video záznamu tejto akcie. Od samotného oslovenia profesorom Bartuszom, som premýšľal, ako zachytiť tento pre mňa jedinečný okamih aj iným médiom, ako je socha." - Michal Machciník
23. októbra 1933 sa narodil akademicky sochár Juraj Bartusz. Jeden z najvyraznejsich umelcov nasej doby, ktorého tvorba zásadne ovplyvnila chod dejín umenia. Progresívny, inovativny, vizionársky. Aj tymito privlastkami môzeme pomenovat osobnost Juraja Bartusza. V povojnovych dejinach jeho umelecké dielo predstavuje syntézu silnej osobnosti a presveddivého umeleckého prejavu. das, gesto, experiment. To sú atribúty, ktoré charakterizuju Bartuszovu tvorbu. Stál pri zrode Fakulte umení Technickej Univerzity v Kosiciach, z ktorej vzisli generácie etablovanych umelcov. Vo verejnom priestore mesta Kosice rezonuie jeho sochárska tvorba napríklad ai v stvárnení krácajúceho maliara Júliusa Jakobyho - reprezentanta Kosickej moderny a povojnovej expresie, s ktorym sa Juraj Bartusz osobne poznal.
In 2019, at the instigation of Professor Bartusz, Michal Machciník began to model his portrait. The initial pleasure and enthusiasm was immediately replaced by respect and responsibility of this unique situation. It was a classically modelled sculptural portrait, which Michal has been doing in parallel with his free work for more than fifteen years. The result of seven sessions, in which the professor sat as a model for about an hour each time, is a portrait whose subsequent plaster form formed the basis for the bronze casting.

The video documentary is the second output that was created in parallel with the portrait modelling process. This medium made it possible to convey not only the technological process itself, but also this unique situation, documenting the interaction for the general public. The full length of the video is 4hours and 38 minutes of continuous footage. The footage is a time-lapse of the event, without editing. However, the editing itself is the individual new sessions of Professor Barthus as a sculptural model. The musical component was completed by Boris Sirka in its full time-span. This is a unique combination of original sound, uniquely composed for this documentary. The post-production was taken care of by Palko Matia from Onomatopoje studio.

On October 23, 1933, academic sculptor Juraj Bartusz was born. One of the most outstanding artists of our time, whose work has fundamentally influenced the course of art history. Progressive, innovative, visionary. With these adjectives we can also name the personality of Juraj Bartusz. In the post-war history, his artistic work represents a synthesis of a strong personality and a convincing artistic expression. das, gesture, experiment. These are the attributes that characterise Bartusz's work. He stood at the birth of the Faculty of Arts of the Technical University of Kosice, from which generations of established artists have emerged. In the public space of the city of Kosice, his sculptural work resonates, for example, in the depiction of the walking painter Julius Jakoby - a representative of Kosice Modernism and post-war expressionism, with whom Juraj Bartusz was personally acquainted.
